As some of you know, in September, 2021, I was diagnosed with not one but two kinds of cancer in my neck, quite close to my voice box, both having various ways of making it difficult or impossible for me to sing. September 17 of 2024 marks the third anniversary of my surgery and various treatments, which I'm happy to report seem to have cured me of both cancers. But there's more to saving a life than simply keeping someone alive.
