The national parks of the American Rockies--Glacier, Yellowstone, the Tetons, and Rocky Mountain National Park--have been my back yard through much of my life. Obviously, each of these parks contains some of the most beautiful and difficult terrain on the continent, but each has its own character and charm as well.
