I chose this image for the title image for my Scenic Areas section because the composition of the barn, the big oak, the old wagon, and the blue sky make it look like a jigsaw puzzle photo.
The historic Scott Covered Bridge near Townshend is the perfect place for young boys to swing from a rope and jump into the West River.
The lengthening afternoon shadows give his old barn a bit of a Halloween look.
I don't know that I'll ever be afforded the luxury of retiring but if I do, I wouldn't mind rocking away my last days on this old porch.
